BJP leader joins Congress

Hi friends, today I m discuss about politics The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP from Tamil Nadu S. Thirunavukkarasar took a surprising decision by joining the Congress party in the presence of Home Minister P. Chidambaram, Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad and Tamil Nadu Congress Committee president K.V. Thangabalu. The Congress party announced the latest development in New Delhi. Thangabalu commented on, Thirunavukkarasar’s admission into the party by saying, “He has joined our party unconditionally. His admission was approved by Congress president Sonia Gandhi. ”Thirunavukkarasar informed, “I have resigned from the primary membership of the BJP and also from the Rajya Sabha. I have joined the Congress party unconditionally. “Thirunavukkarasar clarified the reason for quitting the BJP, “The state leadership of BJP is not keen on developing the party. Further excluding 40 percent of the population consisting of minorities, it is difficult to grow a party here. Hence I decided to quit.” he added.Earlier in May, Thirunavukkarasar contested from Ramananthapuram and he met with a defeat in the Lok Sabha election, since then BJP was looking for him to quit. “He is known for organizational skills. His talent will help the party to grow in the state,” Thangabalu added.
